Summary

Federal agencies must help the Secretary prepare any reports needed under this subchapter and the mission plan in section 10221. Before onsite construction of a test and evaluation facility, actions under this subchapter or section 10221 do not require an environmental impact statement under the Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. 4332(2)(C)) or other environmental reports unless the subchapter says so, and agency heads must avoid repeating work when preparing NEPA reports (42 U.S.C. 4321 et seq.).
