Displaced homemaker — an adult who hasn’t held full-time, year-round paid work for several years because they mostly did unpaid home and family care, and who is now unemployed or underemployed and having trouble getting or improving work. Fund — the National Homeownership Trust Fund. Single parent — someone unmarried or legally separated who has one or more minor children in their custody or joint custody, or who is pregnant. State — the States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and any other U.S. territory or possession. Trust — the National Homeownership Trust.
