People or groups who get help under this law must keep the records the Secretary requires. The records must show how much money they received and how it was spent, the total cost of the project paid for with that help, how much of the project cost came from other sources, and any other papers needed for an audit. The Secretary, the Comptroller General of the United States, or their authorized representatives may inspect and audit any books, documents, papers, or records related to that help.
