Board members are paid a daily amount equal to the daily version of the annual pay for level IV of the Executive Schedule under section 5315 of title 5 for each day they do Board work or travel for the Board. If a member is already a U.S., State, or local government officer or employee, they do not get extra pay on top of their regular salary. Members also get travel costs paid.
