By March 31, 2008, and every March 31 after that, the Foundation must send the appropriate congressional committees a report about what it did in the prior fiscal year. The report must say how much money and other resources the Foundation had (including appropriated funds and any gifts or donations accepted under section 17355(a)(6)). It must explain the Board’s main policy priorities and how competitive grants were requested and awarded. It must list grants with the recipient, dollar amount, and results. It must also give total administrative and operating costs and break out staff numbers and pay (including Board members and contractors), property costs, travel expenses, and representational expenses.
