The NASA Administrator must send a report to the relevant Congressional committees no later than 90 days after October 11, 2010, and then by April 30 each year after that. The report must explain how NASA carried out the corrective action plan it made two years earlier during the prior year. Each report must list any NASA program that has exceeded its cost baseline by 15 percent or more or is more than 2 years behind schedule. For each listed program, the report must include a plan to reduce scope or take other steps to control cost and schedule, and it must describe any cost monitoring or corrective actions taken under the NASA Authorization Act of 2005 and its amendments.
