Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 16— - NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION › § 1862p–10
Colleges and universities that get National Science Foundation research support and had at least $25,000,000 in federal research grants in the most recent fiscal year must keep and report each year to the National Science Foundation the web address (URL) of a public page that explains how they move research into products and businesses. The page must include contact people and offices, info for researchers and companies about licensing and commercialization, success stories and statistics, technologies available for licensing when appropriate, and any other helpful info for potential commercial partners. The National Science Foundation must run a public website that links to each school's page. Schools do not have to post confidential, trade secret, or proprietary information.
