The Secretary must send Congress a yearly report about the previous calendar year. The report must cover eight things: how many health professional shortage areas were designated that year, their names and priorities, and how many the Secretary expects next year; how many applications were filed under section 254f and what was done with each; how many and what kinds of Corps members were placed in shortage areas, how many more are expected next year, and whether more members are needed; recruitment activities and how many qualified people applied; the number of patients and patient visits in each area with a Corps member; how many Corps members chose to keep working in shortage areas after leaving the Corps, how many did not, and the reasons given; the results of evaluations under section 254f(a)(1)(D); and the amounts charged for services by Corps members, the amounts collected under section 254g, and the amounts paid to the Secretary under those agreements.
