When a medical facility sends a required exposure notice, it must give the name of the infectious disease and the date the victim was taken to the facility by emergency responders. If the notice is mailed or sent another indirect way, the facility must tell the designated officer it sent the notice, and that officer must, within 10 days, tell the facility whether they received it.
