Summary

On February 17, 2009, all duties, staff, property, debts, and administrative matters tied to the National Coordinator for Health IT (the office under Executive Order 13335) were moved to the National Coordinator and office created under section 300jj–11, to the extent allowed by that section. Nothing in sections 300jj–12 or 300jj–13 stops AHIC Successor, Inc. (doing business as the National eHealth Collaborative) from changing its charter, duties, membership, or structure so the Secretary can recognize it as the HIT Advisory Committee. Until the HIT Advisory Committee issues its own recommendations, those recommendations must match the most recent ones from AHIC Successor, Inc.
