Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 6A— - PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER XXXI— - WORLD TRADE CENTER HEALTH PROGRAM › Part Part B— - Program of Monitoring, Initial Health Evaluations, and Treatment › Subpart subpart 2— - wtc survivors › § 300mm–33
Apply the same follow-up monitoring and treatment rules used for certified-eligible WTC survivors to certain other people, unless limits apply. Covered people are those who are not enrolled WTC responders or certified-eligible WTC survivors but who are diagnosed at a Clinical Center of Excellence with a WTC-related health condition that is recognized for certified-eligible survivors. The WTC Program Administrator must cap payments each fiscal year so totals do not exceed set amounts: $5,000,000 for the last calendar quarter of fiscal year 2011; $20,000,000 for fiscal year 2012; and for later years the cap equals the prior year’s cap increased by the annual percent change in the medical-care part of the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers.
