Summary

Creates a competitive grant program that lets the Assistant Secretary give money to tribal groups and organizations serving Native Hawaiians (with approved parts A or B applications). Grants pay the Federal share so these groups can expand in‑home and community support to help older people stay healthy, independent, and avoid long‑term care. Services may include those listed in section 3030d(a). The Assistant Secretary must give priority to programs that use funds for in‑home help, transportation, information and referral, case management, health and wellness, legal aid, family caregiver support, and other services that directly support older adults’ independence. The grants do not stop services already provided under parts A or B.
