Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 35— - PROGRAMS FOR OLDER AMERICANS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER X— - GRANTS FOR NATIVE AMERICANS › Part Part C— - Native American Caregiver Support Program › § 3057k–11
The Assistant Secretary must run a grant program that gives federal money to tribal organizations with applications approved under Parts A and B. The grants pay the federal share of running tribal programs so tribes can offer broad support services for caregivers. Tribal organizations that use the grants must follow the same rules that area agencies on aging and States follow under the caregiver-services law. Whenever those rules talk about a State program, they apply to the tribal program instead.
