Grants under section 3335 can pay up to 20% of a project's cost and cannot be larger than the federal grant the project gets under the law mentioned in section 3338. The total federal share of a project cannot be more than 80%. These grants can count as part of the project's financing, including by refunds or credits. Projects that already got help under section 3305(c) are not eligible. Up to $25,000,000 may be appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1967, and up to $50,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1968. Money appropriated stays available until spent. Any amounts authorized but not appropriated for a year may be appropriated for later fiscal years that begin before July 1, 1970.
