Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 66— - DOMESTIC VOLUNTEER SERVICES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - NATIONAL SENIOR SERVICE CORPS › Part Part D— - General Provisions › § 5027
The Director may award grants or contracts under parts A, B, or C for up to 3 years when money is available. If an award is for more than 1 year, the applicant must show it follows the program rules and update the application with current information. If funding in a later year of a multiyear period is less than the first year, payments that year must be cut proportionally across all such awards. Applicants must also show any real administrative savings from multiyear awards. If not given a multiyear award, an applicant will be considered for a one-year award. Multiyear projects are treated the same as one-year projects for total funding, any federal financial adjustments that apply, and for renewal.
