Title 42 › Chapter CHAPTER 105— - COMMUNITY SERVICES PROGRAMS › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER I— - COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT › Part Part D— - Supportive Programs and Activities › § 9821
The Secretary must not give federal money for any program, project, or activity unless the grant or contract says the people running it will not discriminate because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, political affiliation, or beliefs. No one in the United States may be excluded from, denied benefits of, treated differently in, or denied jobs in any program that gets this help because of sex. The Secretary must enforce that rule under sections 2000d–1 and 2000d–2. People still keep any other legal remedies if they are harmed.
