Title 43 › Chapter CHAPTER 25— - UNLAWFUL INCLOSURES OR OCCUPANCY; OBSTRUCTING SETTLEMENT OR TRANSIT › § 1061
You must not build, keep, or control any fence, wall, or other enclosure on U.S. public land unless you had a real, good-faith claim to that land or had properly filed a claim at the land office under U.S. land laws when you made it. You also must not claim the exclusive use or occupation of any part of public land without that same kind of good-faith claim or proper filing.
