Title 43 › Chapter CHAPTER 33— - ALASKA NATIVE CLAIMS SETTLEMENT › § 1613a
If the federal government gave land in Alaska to a Native Corporation under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, and that corporation (or its successor) later traded that land for other Alaska land within the same region and gave it to another Native Corporation, the land is still treated as having been transferred under that Act. "Same region" means the area called a "region" in section 9(a) of the Act.
