Title 43 › Chapter CHAPTER 37— - PUBLIC RANGELANDS IMPROVEMENT › § 1908
The Secretaries of the Interior and Agriculture must run a trial on chosen public rangelands representing different conditions. The program rewards grazing permit or lease holders who improve the range. It will test grazing approaches, including cooperative projects with federal, state, and local partners, allowing up to 50% of fees to be paid through range improvement work and other incentives they choose. By December 31, 1985, they must report to Congress on it, evaluate the section 1905 fee and other fee options, and recommend a grazing fee schedule for 1986 and later.
