The Secretary of the Interior must protect, run, regulate, and improve grazing districts set up under the law. He must make rules, set up services, work with others, and do what is needed to control use of the land, keep soil and resources from damage, and plan orderly use and improvement of the range. He may keep studying erosion and flood control and do work to protect and restore these areas with available funds. Anyone who willfully breaks the rules after being notified can be fined up to $500.
