The Treasury Secretary must put money back into the Colorado River Dam Fund when the fund doesn't have enough to pay for replacements and other required costs, if the Secretary of the Interior asks. The Treasury can only advance up to the total amount repaid to the Treasury under section 618a(b). Congress can provide up to that same total from Treasury funds to allow those advances, and all advances must carry interest.
