Summary

Print 23,000 extra copies of the Civil Service Commission report on top of the regular print run. Give 1,000 copies to the Senate, 2,000 to the House of Representatives, and 20,000 to the Civil Service Commission to distribute. A note about transferred functions is shown below.

In addition to the usual number of the report of the Civil Service Commission twenty-three thousand copies shall be printed: one thousand for the Senate, two thousand for the House of Representatives, and twenty thousand for distribution by the Civil Service Commission.11 See Transfer of Functions note below.

Transfer of Functions

All functions vested by statute in the United States Civil Service Commission were transferred to the Director of the Office of Personnel Management (except as otherwise specified) by Reorg. Plan No. 2 of 1978, § 102, 43 F.R. 36037, 92 Stat. 3783, set out under section 1101 of Title 5, Government Organization and Employees, effective Jan. 1, 1979, as provided by section 1–102 of Ex. Ord. No. 12107, Dec. 28, 1978, 44 F.R. 1055, set out under section 1101 of Title 5.
