Title 44 › Chapter CHAPTER 13— - PARTICULAR REPORTS AND DOCUMENTS › § 1314
Only 2,500 copies of the American Ephemeris and Nautical Almanac must be printed, matching the Navy’s editions. Of those, 500 are for the Senate, 1,000 for the House of Representatives, and 1,000 for the Navy to distribute or sell. The Secretary of the Navy may print 1,500 extra copies of the Almanac’s supplements—100 for the Senate, 400 for the House, and 1,000 for the Navy—and may print extra Nautical Almanacs taken from the Ephemeris for government use and for sale. Money from those sales must go to the Treasury and credit the public printing fund.
