Title 44 › Chapter CHAPTER 23— - NATIONAL ARCHIVES TRUST FUND BOARD › § 2307
Put income from the Board’s trust funds and money from selling securities or other property into the U.S. Treasury in an account called the National Archives Trust Fund. Money from that account can be spent when the Archivist of the United States (or someone they choose) certifies vouchers for activities the Board approves that support the National Archives and Records Administration, such as preparing and publishing special works, making source collections, and preparing, copying, editing, and releasing historical photos and sound recordings. The Archivist can sell publications and releases paid for from the trust income at a price that covers cost plus 10 percent. Money from those sales must go into and be used from the National Archives Trust Fund.
