Members of the Committee do not get paid for serving on the Committee. They can be reimbursed for travel expenses, including a per diem in lieu of subsistence, at the rates authorized for agency employees under subchapter I of chapter 57 of title 5, United States Code, when they are away from home or their regular workplace while doing Committee work.
