Title 44 › Chapter CHAPTER 33— - DISPOSAL OF RECORDS › § 3303
Agency heads must send the Archivist, under rules provided by law, three kinds of submissions. First, lists of records that were photographed, microphotographed, or digitized and seem not worth keeping; second, lists of other records the agency no longer needs and that lack administrative, legal, research, or other value; and third, schedules asking to dispose of certain kinds of records after specified time periods.
