Defines key words used in the subtitle. Congressional leadership is the Speaker and the House majority and minority leaders, plus the Senate majority and minority leaders. A congressionally mandated report is a federal agency report that a law requires to be sent to either House of Congress or to any committee or subcommittee. It does not include reports required under part B of subtitle II of title 36, reports by inspectors general, or reports meant only for certain intelligence, armed services, appropriations, or foreign relations/affairs committees listed for each House. Director means the Director of the Government Publishing Office. Federal agency uses the definition in 40 U.S.C. 102 but excludes the Government Accountability Office and parts of the intelligence community. Intelligence community uses the definition in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 3003). Reports online portal is the portal set up under section 7243(a).
