Title 44 › Chapter CHAPTER 41— - ACCESS TO FEDERAL ELECTRONIC INFORMATION › § 7245
Federal agency heads may change or remove a report that Congress required on the public reports portal only if they first talk with every committee or subcommittee the report was sent to — or, if no particular committee received it, they must talk with each committee that oversees the agency after consulting the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate — and Congress passes a joint resolution allowing the change or removal. An agency head may still make technical edits, take down a report posted by mistake, or withhold material under section 5246 [7246].
