Title 45 › Chapter CHAPTER 9— - RETIREMENT OF RAILROAD EMPLOYEES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER IV— - RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT OF 1974 › § 231g
You can ask a court to review Board decisions about a person’s rights or legal duties under this part. The review follows the same rules and limits that apply to reviews under the Railroad Unemployment Insurance Act. But if the decision is about an annuity, supplemental annuity, or a lump‑sum benefit, you must start court proceedings within one year after the Board puts the decision in its records and tells the person who filed the claim.
