Title 45 › Chapter CHAPTER 2— - LIABILITY FOR INJURIES TO EMPLOYEES › § 53
As of April 22, 1908, railroad employees may get money for injury or death even if they were partly at fault. A jury must cut the award by the employee’s share of fault. If the railroad broke a safety law that helped cause the harm, the employee is not at fault.
