Summary

Recipients of loans or other financial help must keep the records the Association or the Secretary require. Those records must show how much money was received and how it was spent, and include any other papers needed for an audit. The Association, the Secretary, and the Comptroller General (or their representatives) may inspect books and records for audit for 3 years after the implementation of the final system plan. The Association (or its reps) may keep inspecting records until the assistance is fully repaid to check repayment ability, how well the funds are used, and progress on the final system plan and the chapter’s policy goals.
