Title 45 › Chapter CHAPTER 16— - REGIONAL RAIL REORGANIZATION › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER VII— - PROTECTION OF EMPLOYEES › § 797e
The Corporation can move or combine work from rail properties it took over to any place in its system for job groups not covered by a union contract with a similar process. The work must stay under a union contract and must not take away existing job rights at the place it is moved to. Before doing this, the Corporation must negotiate with employee representatives so workers can follow their work. This power lasts only while benefits under this subchapter are paid with funds made available under section 797l of this title.
