United States carrier: an ocean common carrier whose vessels are documented under U.S. law. Maritime services: port-to-port cargo moved by ocean carriers. Maritime-related services: other carrier activities like terminal, intermodal, cargo solicitation, agency, and intermediary services. United States oceanborne trade: carriage of cargo between the U.S. and a foreign country, directly or indirectly, by an ocean common carrier.
