A business or institutional logogram is any spoken or shown letters, words, symbol, or sign used only to identify a company or organization and not to sell its products or services. Public TV and radio stations may air announcements that show or say such a logo and give the organization's location, but these announcements cannot interrupt regular programs. The Federal Communications Commission may make rules about how these logos are used.
