Summary

Deletes the mention of the Territory of Alaska and the Territory of Hawaii from 18 U.S.C. 1401. Changes the first words of 18 U.S.C. 5024 so the chapter applies in the States, and makes the same change to section 6 of Public Law 85–752 so sections 3 and 4 apply in the States.

(a)Title 18, United States Code, section 1401, is amended by striking out the words ‘the Territory of Alaska, the Territory of Hawaii,’.
“(b)Title 18, United States Code, section 5024, is amended by striking out the words preceding the first comma and inserting in lieu thereof the words ‘This chapter shall apply in the States of the United States’.
“(c)section 6 of Public Law 85–752, as amended, is further amended by striking out the words preceding the first comma and inserting in lieu thereof the words ‘section 3 and 4 of this Act shall apply in the States of the United States’.
