Title 48 › Chapter CHAPTER 11— - ALIEN OWNERS OF LAND › § 1504
Noncitizens who hold land in U.S. Territories in violation of this chapter may transfer the title any time before the United States begins escheat proceedings. If a transfer is made as a trust to evade the law, whether to a noncitizen or a U.S. citizen, it is void and the land is forfeited to the United States.
