Title 48 › Chapter CHAPTER 13— - EASTERN SAMOA › § 1666
When the Secretary of the Interior asks, the head of any federal department, agency, or corporation may give American Samoa free scientific, technical, and other help that the Secretary thinks will help its people. That offer does not include money given through grant-in-aid programs. The Secretary may not ask for help that will cost agencies more than $150,000 total in any one fiscal year, based on cost estimates given in advance by those agencies. The Secretary of Agriculture may make the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act available to American Samoa (the school lunch program). The Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare may make available the Vocational Education Act of 1946, the Hospital Survey and Construction Act, and section 246 of title 42 to American Samoa.
