Title 48 › Chapter CHAPTER 20— - PUERTO RICO OVERSIGHT, MANAGEMENT, AND ECONOMIC STABILITY › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER V— - PUERTO RICO INFRASTRUCTURE REVITALIZATION › § 2215
When the Revitalization Coordinator asks, any federal agency that handles permits or reviews for public or private projects in Puerto Rico must name a point of contact within 30 days. For any Critical Project applying for a federal grant, loan, or loan guarantee, the Coordinator and that point of contact must work together to speed up the application review. All federal reviews and actions for Critical Projects must be handled quickly to try to meet the Expedited Permitting Process deadlines, but those deadlines do not legally bind any federal agency.
