The Secretary of Transportation can get expert help and use other federal agencies’ services and facilities when needed, but only if the right federal officials agree and the agencies are paid back. Heads of those agencies must use their powers to help carry out the policy in section 41761. The Secretary must give the Comptroller General of the United States any information about federal credit instruments under this subchapter that the Comptroller General needs under chapter 7 of title 31, United States Code.
