Air carriers must give flight attendants initial and annual training on four things: how to serve alcohol, how to spot passengers who are drunk, how to handle disruptive passengers, and how to spot and respond to possible human trafficking victims. The training must also include situation-based practice on how to deal with intoxicated passengers who act belligerent. Definitions: "Air carrier" means a person or company with an air carrier operating certificate under section 44705. "Flight attendant" has the meaning in section 44728(g).
