Title 5 › Part PART III— - EMPLOYEES › Subpart Subpart B— - Employment and Retention › Chapter CHAPTER 33— - EXAMINATION, SELECTION, AND PLACEMENT › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER III— - DETAILS, VACANCIES, AND APPOINTMENTS › § 3
Agency heads may decide which cyber jobs in their agency can join a rotational cyber workforce program. That choice does not change the rule in section 4(b)(3) that employees must volunteer. If an agency head selects a job, they must tell the Director and provide the required job details. The Director, with help from the Councils and the Secretary, must make a list of eligible positions that shows the job title, job series, grade or work level, agency, duty location, and main duties. The Director must update and send that list to agency heads and other appropriate entities at least once a year.
