Explains when a medical emergency for someone getting donated leave ends. It ends when the person tells their agency in writing that the emergency is over; when the agency, after written notice and a chance to respond (by the person or someone acting for them), finds the emergency is over; or when the person leaves their job. The agency must follow Office of Personnel Management guidelines to stop any transferred leave once the emergency ends. Sections 5551, 5552, and 6306 do not apply to annual leave transferred under this subchapter.
