Title 50 › Chapter CHAPTER 38— - CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY RETIREMENT AND DISABILITY › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY RETIREMENT AND DISABILITY SYSTEM › Part Part H— - Retired Participants Recalled, Reinstated, or Reappointed in Agency or Reemployed in Government › § 2111
The Director can bring a retired participant back to work for the Agency if the retiree agrees and the Director finds it serves the public interest. The same rule applies if the retiree is reinstated or reappointed under section 2051(c). While working again, the retiree gets the full basic pay for the grade they hold instead of their annuity and must make retirement fund contributions as required by section 2021. When they go back to retired status, their annuity will be redetermined under section 2031.
