The Director of National Intelligence must publish a public, unclassified summary, with help from the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency, about intelligence on whether people held now or in the past at Guantanamo Bay have returned to terrorism and how likely they are to do so. At least once a year, with help from the CIA and the Secretary of Defense, the Director must update that summary and say how many former detainees are confirmed or suspected of returning to terrorist activity after release or transfer.
