Summary

The Director of National Intelligence must make sure people who meet the rules can quickly get medical checks at U.S. government centers that know how to treat traumatic brain injury. Those checks are for people with unusual health symptoms. To do that, the Director must work with the Secretary of Defense and other federal leaders to set up, by not later than 60 days after March 15, 2022, a way to give these people quick access to the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, an Intrepid Spirit Center, or another suitable medical treatment facility for assessment and, if needed, treatment. The covered people are employees of the intelligence community and their dependents or other immediate family members.
