Title 50 › Chapter CHAPTER 45— - MISCELLANEOUS INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY AUTHORITIES › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER III— - SECURITY CLEARANCES AND CLASSIFIED INFORMATION › § 3352d
The head of every federal department and agency must send one annual report to the Security Executive Agent. The report must say how many people waited more than 2 weeks for their security clearance to be accepted when they moved to another part of the same department or agency, and must break that count down by the type of clearance and the reasons for any delays. At least once each year, the Security Executive Agent must give a summary of the reports it got to the proper congressional committees and make that summary available to industry partners.
