Title 50 › Chapter CHAPTER 50— - SERVICEMEMBERS CIVIL RELIEF › Subchapter SUBCHAPTER II— - GENERAL RELIEF › § 3936
Time in military service must not be counted when working out deadlines for filing lawsuits or for government agency actions involving a servicemember or their heirs or legal representatives. It also stops military service from shortening the time to redeem property sold for debts, taxes, or assessments, but it does not apply to time limits under the internal revenue laws of the United States.
