The Commission must tell claimants whether their claim is approved and, if approved, the amount to be paid. If a claim is denied or approved for less than the full amount, the claimant can get a hearing under the Commission’s rules. At the hearing the Commission can keep, change, or reverse its decision. Those decisions under this subchapter are final and cannot be reviewed by other United States officials or courts, and the Comptroller General must credit payments made under them.
