Defines key words used in the subchapter. Administrator is the person the Secretary appoints (section 4234). Affected Aleut villages are Akutan, Atka, Nikolski, Saint George, Saint Paul, Unalaska, and Attu. Association is the Aleutian/Pribilof Islands Association, a nonprofit organized under Alaska law. Corporation is the Aleut Corporation, a for‑profit regional corporation (section 1606, title 43). Eligible Aleut is any Aleut living on August 10, 1988 who was relocated by the United States from a Pribilof or Aleutian village west of Unimak during World War II, or born while his or her natural mother was so relocated. Secretary is the Secretary of the Interior. Fund is the Aleutian and Pribilof Islands Restitution Fund (section 4233). World War II is December 7, 1941–September 2, 1945.
