Within 12 months after November 25, 2002, the President must send a report on how section 482 has been carried out. The report must say if extra actions or new funding—beyond what section 482 requires—are needed to improve information sharing among Federal, State, and local agencies. The report must go to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Committee on the Judiciary, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
